I grew up in sunny San Diego, California where I attended Grossmont College. My family was involved in real estate, so I began learning about the field of appraisal from a family friend while still in high school. I became licensed in 1993 and practiced until I moved to Sacramento in 2000. After moving north, I obtained my Real Estate license, began selling new homes and was promoted to lead sales agent after only six months. I enjoyed a successful sales career for many years but missed many of the analytical aspects of appraisal. I joined C&D’s Appraisal Team in 2010. When I am not working, I enjoy painting watercolors, boating, playing with my pets and an occasional round of golf.
